Toy Industry Events

1. China Toy Conference
The high-level Conference of China toy industry is held each two years. About 400 participants including government officials, top management from toy manufacturers, toy retailers, distributors, leaders of regional associations from different parts of China and international industry experts as well attend the conference to discuss industry related issues.

2. Toy Star Award
To encourage innovative design of toys, China Toy Association started annual Toy Star Awards from 2002. The Awards attract lots of attentions from domestic and international toy brands each year. Final results of the annual awards are announced at the Annual Industry Dinner and will be showcased along with China Toy Expo in Shanghai.

3. Annual Industry Dinner
Top management from toy industry are present at the Gala Dinner to exchange views and share progress of the industry. On invitation of CTA, related state and local government officials and international toy industry delegates also join the dinner to show their support for the industry development.

5. China Toy Expo
China Toy Association has successfully organized China Toy Expo for eight years. As the specialized trading fair in Asia, the fair focuses on toys, hobby and baby articles. It is China's leading market platform for Chinese toy suppliers and global trade buyers. International buyers can meet quality toy suppliers from different production centers of China. Also international visitors can explore China toy market by participating at the fair. 9th International Trade Fair for Toys, Hobbies and Baby Articles is due to be held on Oct 12-14, 2009.

6. Training and Appraisal on Toy Designers
Entrusted by related state department, CTA organizes training programs to upgrade skills of professionals involved in toy industry. Over twenty training courses on toy designers have been conducted with more than 1000 toy designers being assessed and issued qualifications of Certified Toy Designers.
